Congratulations to Rob and Brian Power of PowerPost Production on their recent purchase of Salter Street Digital! Rob Power, former Salter Street Digital VP, helped develop the operation into Atlantic Canada's premier post-production shop. Rob will function as the company's president and CEO, and Brian, a former SSD sound engineer, will assume the position of VP and COO.

Halifax is home to the company's original facility now equipped to provide full HD Online capabilities, including HD Closed Captioning and QC. The P.E.I office, launched last year, offers audio mixing, with HD-video capabilities since March.

NETWORX, a division of CEV  was very pleased to provide PowerPost with its first major purchase of an Avid HD Nitris system - the first in Canada!

The Nitris was used on Snakes and Ladders, produced by Big Motion Pictures for CBC. It is currently being utilized on Diet of Souls for Triad Films and will be used on the upcoming Trudeau sequel (all about his early years).

Along with the HD Nitris, PowerPost is also the proud owner of Avid Symphony, MC1000, Film Composers, MC Offline systems and Xpress Pro/Mojo, as well as Digidesign products.
