his outstanding performance Sunday
night at the
East Coast Music Awards ceremony.
The
Cape Breton singer-songwriter swept
all five categories he was nominated
in: Male Artist of the Year,
Album of the Year, Single
of the Year, Pop Recording
of the Year and Songwriter
of the Year. It’s the fifth
time since 2000 that Sampson has
won the SOCAN Songwriter of the
Year Award.
