All Access 2006
CEV-Networx Booth a Big Hit at BSE-Tourtech East in Halifax

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth at the "All Access 2006 Show". It had the best turnout to date.

It was an opportunity for audio and video pros, as well as broadcasters, schools, colleges and universities to meet and enjoy hands-on demos of several leading products such as Avid Xpress Pro HD on an HP 9200 and Digidesign MBox 2 on a laptop.

We are looking forward to next year's edition!

Flat Screen Displays
Choosing Between LCD and Plasma Displays

Flat panel technology offers new and exciting ways to broadcast information, television programs, and HDTV. Both the plasma and LCD technologies offer sharp, detailed pictures and bright, lifelike colors. When deciding which system to go with, it's helpful to assess your needs and pick the display technology that will best suit your application.

Choose LCD technology if:

  • You display still images or are concerned about wider screen viewing angles.
  • You display video or still images that require high resolution for crisp text.
  • The environment is often filled with natural light.
  • Energy efficiency is a priority.

Choose plasma technology if:

  • You display constant-motion video or dynamic multimedia.
  • You need real color reproduction such as broadcast applications.
  • Larger screen sizes or low cost per inch is a priority.

See more information about Sony flat displays available at CEV, or compare their specifications with other popular models.
