professionals meet up at CEV
 On
June 1 and 2, CEV welcomed nearly
20 manufacturers and a hundred
broadcast industry members in
its Montreal offices, to do a
Post-NAB wrap-up, presenting products
unveiled in Las Vegas.

Les
1er et 2 juin, CEV a accueilli
près d’une vingtaine
de fabricants et une centaine
de membres de l’industrie
de la télédiffusion
dans ses installations de la rue
Adam, à Montréal,
afin de faire le point sur les
faits saillants du salon américain
NAB Show, qui s’est tenu
fin avril à Las Vegas
«Notre
Post-NAB, premier du genre, était
avant tout destiné aux
professionnels de l’industrie,
a soulevé Jean Meunier,
président de CEV. Nous
avons eu une vingtaine de présentations
au cours de ces deux journées.
J’avais demandé aux
présentateurs de nous faire
état des nouveautés,
de partager le meilleur de leur
NAB 2011. L’événement
a été l’occasion
de renouer et de discuter entre
clients et partenaires. Je dois
dire que j’ai beaucoup apprécié
la qualité du dialogue
et la pertinence des questions
qui étaient soumises au
cours des conférences.»
De
nombreux représentants
américains, venus de New
York, de Californie ou encore
de Floride, avaient répondu
à l’invitation de
CEV. Les participants ont entre
autres pu assister à une
présentation de la société
Christie sur ses plus récents
projecteurs 3D; Sony a fait un
survol des produits et technologies
qui ont été dévoilés
au NAB; Avid était aussi
de la partie avec ses produits
Avid ISIS, Avid Artist Series
et Avid Euphonix.
Jean
Meunier a indiqué que le
rendez-vous d’industrie Post-NAB
avait été un succès,
ajoutant que CEV allait le reprogrammer
l’année prochaine.
