Recording
formats include 1920x1080, 1440x1080,
and 1280x720 at 23.98/25/29.97p, 50/59.94i
and, in DVCAM mode, 25/29.97PsF and
50/59.94i. Shooters can also take
advantage of "slow" and
"quick" recording, from
1 to 30 fps at 1920x1080 (17 to 30
fps in dual-link mode) and 1 to 60
fps at 1280x720 (17 to 60 fps in dual-link
mode).

Sony PMW-350, part of the XDCAM
EX
family, is the first shoulder camcorder
in this Sony range. It comes equipped
with cutting-edge imaging technology:
three 2/3-inch-type "Exmor"
full-HD CMOS sensors, which give
stunningly high-quality images with
high sensitivity and a high signal-to-noise
ratio. The PMW-350 inherits a rich
variety of features for creative
shooting from the successful camcorders
that precede it - the PMW-EX1 and
PMW-EX3. In addition, the PMW-350
is versatile and highly expandable.

 The
PMW-EX3
incorporates three 1/2-inch type
"Exmor" Full HD CMOS Sensors,
each with an effective pixel count
of 1920 x 1080, delivering stunning-quality
HD images in 1080P, 720P and 1080i
HD resolutions.
The
frame rate of the camcorder is selectable
from interlace and progressive.
A
rich variety of features for creative
shooting are incorporated into these
camcorders such as "Slow &
Quick Motion", selectable gamma
curves, slow-shutter, interval recording
and Picture Profile feature.
Additionally,
the PMW-EX3 camcorder offers an
interchangeable lens system, convenient
remote-control and multi-camera
operation capability, which allows
use with high-end camera systems.
